UPDATE: Medicinal Mushroom Hot Chocolate, here’s what I’ve learned.

Medicinal Mushroom Hot Chocolate…10/10 delish

Update: I have been mixing this into my morning protein shake. If it’s warmer out, I don’t want something hot.

Then I did an experiment on myself…as I occasionally do, I “test” my body, so I can note how things may or may not change after trying a new product. I did that test with this product.

I quit taking it for approximately two weeks, to see how I felt. (If you follow me you know that I have autoimmune disease, and mental health diagnoses.).

What I noticed after about 4 days without this product:

  • Increased body pain, specifically in my joints.
  • Increased anxiety
  • Bowel “differences”… I’ll just leave it at that.. I think you get the drift…(lets just say it was worse, and not consistent.)
  • Increased mental fog
  • Increased depression

These are just my experiences. But it’s convinced me that natural plants and products DO help me.

Pain is a life killer for me. So if I can get relief the natural way, and not have to turn to my pharma, you can bet your booty I will.

You can get your own HERE. (You’ll also get a $10 coupon via this link)

Medicinal mushroom

I ordered the Medicinal Mushroom Hot Chocolate mix from my favorite store, The Humble Collective CBD. Mixed it up and tried it for the first time this morning. All I can say is yummy! I did add raw sugar and my collagen supplement, which is flavorless. (It can be added to anything, soup, drinks, prepared food.. whatever you want.).

UPDATE: Medicinal Mushroom Hot Chocolate, here’s what I’ve learned.

Here’s the kicker, the medicinal mushrooms in the mix. They are as follows:

  • Ingredients: Raw Cocao Powder*, Ground Ceylon Cinnamon*, Ground Nutmeg*, Ground Reishi*, Ground Lions Mane*, Ground Shitake*, CBD Isolate.

Here are the benefits of the mushrooms…cited directly from Humble Collective’s site.

“Reishi- known to be an incredible immune booster, energy booster, and mood booster. It is high in antioxidants and can improve heart health and support blood sugar control.

Lion’s Mane- known to stimulate brain cell growth, reduce symptoms of anxiety/depression, stimulates the growth and repair of nerve cells, reduces inflammation, boosts the immune system, and supports heart health.

Shitake- known to help fight weight gain and fat deposition, boost energy and brain function, support the immune system, promote skin health, and help heal chromosome damage.

Here’s another sources about the benefits of mushrooms. (Cited directly from HC’s site)

Humble Collective sources their Hot Chocolate from Roots to Remedies. This mix contains 10 mg of CBD isolate as well, there is no THC in this hot chocolate.

Here’s a quick video of what I used… Unsweetened organic almond milk, raw turbinado cane sugar, collagen supplement, and mushroom cocoa mix.

Eat your decorations

St Patty’s day is coming up…though we all might think we are Irish and embark on a pub crawl… but some of us still want to eat. 😂.

Then there’s EASTER…I remember getting together and visiting with people and eating a bunch of food during that time. I wish I had known about this company back then… I could have escaped the kitchen duty. 😁.

What happened to that? Life is such an experience. I’ve found that since I’m getting older, everything about me has changed. Most of that is because I’m growing and learning, but most is just the evolution of life. Always changing. Ebbing and flowing… Anyway, this post isn’t about going through all of my “stuff”, it’s to share this great company, and place my own order. Chocolate covered strawberries sounds AMAZING.

You can click on any of the underlined words, or pictures to take you directly to website to order.

I am a chocolate freak, and LOVE chocolate covered strawberries.

Vibration tracks that help heal your soul

Vibration tracks that help heal your soul

Sound and vibration therapy uses aspects of music to improve physical and emotional health and well-being. The person being treated must be with an experienced experienced trained practitioner. Music therapy may involve:

  • listening to music
  • singing along to music
  • moving to the beat of the music
  • meditating with vibration/and or sound waves—(this is my preferred method)
  • playing an instrument

Healing with sound is believed to date back to ancient times, when music was used in an attempt to cure mental disorders. Throughout history, music has been used to boost morale in military troops, and help people work more productively, along with many different spiritual uses. (cited from this article)

Vibration sounds, meditation healing sounds, have all been proven to help you relax and help your body heal.

I’ve included a link to a place where you can get those here.

I personally like to put on headphones and just zone out with binaural beats, and let the sounds seep into my brain. It sends me into a trance like state. Pretty cool and bizarre if you have never meditated before.

I suggest you try it… people have been healing the body WITHOUT pharma for thousands of years.

But I’m not a big pharma fan, so there’s that.

Study with over 50k participants suggests that the more Covid boosters a person received, the more likely they were to get the virus.

Study with over 50k suggests that the more Covid boosters a person received, the more likely they were to get the virus.

A friend led me onto this….I’ve been reading a lot of “stuff”. But this one particular study published at the Cleveland Clinic, suggests that a large number of people that received continuous Covid vaccinations, ended up getting the virus more often than those who hadn’t received the continuous round of boosters. (Read the article here) Via Sandusky

A lot of people feel a certain way about vaccinations, and believe they should take whatever is recommended, and some people, like me, aren’t against vaccinations, just against no long term studies prior to them being released.

Medicine is fluid. That’s why they call it “practice”, because a person spends time within the industry, they are basically practicing medicine…they don’t come out of school knowing everything. It’s life experience that adds to knowledge. I wish more people would understand that. It’s not a one and done thing… “medicine”, or “being a doctor, or nurse”.

Trialsitenews posted this article about the recent study. (Which by the way has NOT been peer reviewed.).

MedRxiv posted this publication about the study, which included over 50k people.

Make up your own mind about it. There’s A LOT of disturbing news about covid, and the covid vaccinations. There’s a lot of good news about it…there’s a lot of news that is being withheld from the general public, because, well that’s the way a lot of our news outlets work.

I’ll leave it at that.

Blossom and Fruit Product Highlight

Blossom and Fruit Product Highlight

This is another product from Humble Collective CBD that I use. Blossom and Fruit harvested right from the owners wild, untouched land. It’s another amazing product.

Here are the ingredients: : Dandelion*, violet petals*, organic rose petals, organic plum kernel oil, organic grapeseed oil, organic red raspberry oil, hibiscus oil, ylang ylang essential oil, blueberry seed oil and full spectrum hemp extract. (*wildcrafted) (Citied directly from here.)

Here are some benefits of these ingredients. (Cited directly from here.)

  • Dandelion: Rich in antioxidants, dandelions have anti-aging benefits for the skin. Dandelion extract can help to nourish the skin by reducing fine lines and wrinkles, and toning unbalanced skin. The plant contains detoxifying properties that rid the skin of toxins that clog pores and cause acne, as well as vitamin C to speed up the body’s natural healing process and reduce the appearance of scars and skin inflammation.
  • Plum Kernel Oil: Full of nourishing omega fatty acids (13 different kinds to be exact) and vitamins A and E, which heal and hydrate dry skin, hair and nails better than any other oil out there. Plum oil also has anti-inflammatory properties that help to reduce the appearance of—ready for it?—puffiness, irritation, dark spots, under-eye circles, wrinkles and dry skin. It’s also good for soothing skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis.
  • Grapeseed Oil: Unlike other oils that may only suit certain skin types or clog pores, grapeseed oil is a lightweight oil that’s noncomedogenic, making it suitable for most skin types—including sensitive and acne-prone. anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial, making it an ideal sidekick in your fight against breakouts, prevents free radical damage, reduce inflammation, and minimizes fine lines and wrinkles.
  • Red Raspberry Oil: Red raspberry seed oil is cold-pressed from red raspberry seeds and packed with essential fatty acids and vitamins. Among its many benefits, it’s believed to offer protection from the sun.
  • Hibiscus Oil: Hibiscus oil supports your body’s natural collagen production, may help slow down collagen degradation, prevent elastin breakdown, and can help ease inflammation from the inside out.
  • Ylang Ylang Essential Oil: Promotes skin healing, helps relieve dry skin, enhances circulation and helps new skin form.
  • Blueberry Seed Oil: Blueberry Seed Oil is made from cold-pressed blueberries, it is high in the essential fatty acids Omegas 3 and 6 and alpha linolenic acid.  These work with the skin’s natural barrier, helping it to function well, and improving overall tone and firmness. Omega oils reduce redness, condition and protect, and help the skin to repair itself. Blueberry Seed Oil also contains Vitamin E which helps to minimise fine lines and tackles loss of elasticity and hyper-pigmentation.
  • Full Spectrum Hemp Extract: CBD naturally elevates levels of anandamide. Higher levels of anandamide supports your body’s own natural process to reduce inflammation. Inflammation can cause redness, irritation, rashes and even breakouts. Full-spectrum CBD gives you smoother, calmer and more radiant skin”

So if this sounds like some all natural, good for your skin and extremely affordable amazing skin food, check it out if you want.

Product Highlight-Let It Glow

Product Highlight-Let It Glow

My goodies came today from my favorite store, Humble Collective CBD. (Click underlined to go to their site.)

This is one of two products I’ll be talking about over the next two days.

I’m attempting to NOT go into aging gracefully, but with the least amount of wrinkles and skin damage as possible. I was a sun queen when I was younger, and I do get a lot of sun during the summer at the ranch doing yard work, and stuff like that. But I can’t be without my Humble skincare. Yes, I’ve tried other products, on purpose, to see how my skin reacts, and it just feels better when I use all natural, additive free products. Maybe it just me, but I don’t think so. These products are good.

So let’s get into it. The Let It Glow serum is filled with everything your skin wants and needs for nourishment, and cell regeneration.

Ingredients are: organic grapeseed oil, organic camellia seed oil, organic sunflower and olive oil infused with (all organic herbs) of: comfrey, nettle, chickweed, chamomile, lavender, yarrow, calendula and arnica, organic argan oil, roman chamomile and frankincense essential oils, CBD isolate, CBG isolate.

That’s it! Not words you can’t pronounce, not water, and all GOODNESS for your face.

Comfrey has been found to help the skin be “less susceptible to wrinkles” (cited directly from here.)

That’s just one of the ingredients. Check out the site for more information, here.

Part 2 of homemade elderberry syrup

Part 2 of homemade elderberry syrup

After I let the ingredients soak for a few weeks, I just strained the jars through some cheesecloth, and mixed half of the juice with raw honey. 1:1 ratio. You can adjust it the way you want to, there’s no “official” way it’s supposed to be done.

The syrup is powerful, and you can take a maintenance small dose everyday, or if you are sick take it up to three times a day, with lots of water… as we all know that our body can’t run without it.

Once the ingredients are done “steeping”…not sure of another word to call it, the rest is easy, just mix and store in the fridge.

PART 1 OF HOMEMADE ELDERBERRY SYURUP

This is the part one of homemade elderberry syrup.

Ingredients are:

  • Sliced onion
  • Sliced orange
  • Slice lime (or lemon, all I had on hand was a lime)
  • Raw ginger cut up
  • Whole garlic cloves
  • Turmeric
  • Pepper
  • Sage
  • Rosemary
  • Oregano
  • Whole cinnamon sticks
  • Elderberries (I bought mine freeze dried and they reconstituted in the soak)
  • Vinegar with the mother.

This recipe can be tweaked, I just put all of what I had in my kitchen in the jars, covered it with the vinegar, and let it sit a few weeks. Part two is coming up.

Natural cruelty free soap.

Natural cruelty free soap

I found a natural soap company that is cruelty free and not filled with yucky stuff, that you don’t want on your skin. More coming as I do further research.

Here are two companies that I have found that are natural, cruelty free, and have what seems to be, just good products.

Apple Valley Natural Soap…here’s your one stop, vegan, CF, natural, place to get soap, lotions, all the things for your body. Click here to check out their site.

Another great company is Beetanicals. I can’t even begin to list all the good things from this company, and again it’s CF..which is a must. Click here to check out their site.

Ok, so I am researching some natural soap/beauty products. I am so weird about what I put on my skin…. I make my own deodorant…lol.. I don’t want a bunch of chemicals on my skin.

Don’t stink and don’t ruin your body, and be nice to animals.

I posted about mushrooms helping with mental health, and now lets talk about mushrooms for overall body health.

I posted about mushrooms helping with mental health, and now lets talk about mushrooms for overall body health.

It’s widely known that mushrooms help the body. They can decrease the risk of cancer, lower sodium intake, help lower cholesterol, help with keeping your gut healthy, and help boost your immune system. (sourced directly from HERE)

I hear people say….”eeewww…mushrooms are fungus”. Well, yea. But with all the health benefits that come with them, and the many many ways they can be eaten, drank, and prepared, that complaint is really null. I once was told by a person I was cooking for that they would “absolutely not eat a mushroom”. Well, lets just say that the meal I prepared had mushrooms, and this person didn’t even notice, and complimented me on the meal. HEHEHEHE…

In this post I’m continuing on with my product highlights from Humble Collective CBD. They have a Medicinal Mushroom and CBD hot chocolate mix. I mean, really, you get all of the benefits of CBD, mushrooms, AND CHOCOLATE. How could you go wrong? Well, you can’t.

https://atomic-temporary-41308365.wpcomstaging.com/HumbleCollective

So there you go. Want to try it? Click this link and order some for yourself. My guess is that you can’t go wrong.
