I’m researching more on the vegus nerve. Finding out a lot that I didn’t know, and missed when I couldn’t finish my nursing degree, after life pulled the rug out from under me. But I digress. I purchased this item, a few weeks ago, and wanted to give it all my wrath and test it out completely. Let me preface this with when I quit covering my grey, and it started to grow out, it became the wild woman of Borneo look.
My silver hair, which I love, is thicker, more course, and curly! I used to wash my hair, comb it, and just let it do it’s thing. Not anymore. If I want to embrace my waves I have to put product in it, and although I love the way it looks, I don’t like the way it feels. So I searched for an alternate.
I use argon oil in my hair, because the transition part of going grey seemed to make my hair feel brittle. I wanted a way to tame down the Medusa look, without feeling like I was ruining my hair.
Enter stage left Remington Shine Therapy heated straightening brush. This little gem has three heat settings and as long as you don’t stick your fingers on the argon oil infused heated parts, I’ve not an one issue with it not doing it’s job. I can turn it on, give it a couple of minutes to heat up, and gently run it through my hair, and it smooths all the crazy right out. I love it.

I’m going to do a video and show you how it works. Just haven’t gotten that far yet.

Finding my passion 5 Nov 22
I think I’ve figured out this whole online business thing. It’s been almost a year that I’ve been learning, creating, and figuring it out.
Here’s some things I’ve found out about the online space, and making money.
- Money doesn’t buy you happiness. I’ve had it, made it, lost it, and honestly, it hasn’t brought me any kind of peace at all.
- If you think that you are going to start a business without investing money, you’re being mislead.
- If you think that you are going to make fast money, again, you’re being mislead.
- I’ve found out that, for me, if it doesn’t bring me peace, a sense of completeness, and the ability to maybe help others, THEN IT’S NOT WORTH IT, and I’m not going to do it.
I have found what makes me feel good, what brings me peace, and what ignites a fire under my ass. It’s not building funnels, or landing pages, it’s not getting a new affiliate partnership with another company, it’s not sitting in zoom calls listening to rah rah speeches, and being told that I need to do this or that to make money.
MONEY MONEY MONEY. I’m so sick of hearing about money. Because honestly if I die tomorrow, I can’t take it with me. Money is REQUIRED to live in most places in a populated society. But everyone is different, and their goals are different. That’s ok.
I am a lifelong trauma survivor. I’ve struggled MY ENTIRE LIFE. I struggle to this day.
What I have realized is that writing helps me process that trauma, and makes me not want to kill myself. Yea, that’s heavy, but it’s the truth. Building a huge affiliate program isn’t what I want to do. I want to pour my heart and soul into what I write because it feels RIGHT. It’s right for me. So that’s what I’m going to do.
I will probably keep the few affiliate partnerships that I have, my amazon store, maybe my Etsy store, I don’t know yet. But I’ll be getting rid of all of the others, because it’s just not right for me.
So for my followers, thank you for hanging in there with me. Thank you for seeing me and allowing me to find my passion. It’s been a year, for sure.

NaNoWriMo 50k Words during November
NaNoWriMo 50k words during November
During the month of November, I am participating in a writing challenge through the non profit called NaNoWriMo. (See link for more info).
NaNoWriMo.org
This is a challenge where you can network with other writers, the general public, or completely keep your writing private. It runs until the end of November, and the challenge is to write at least 50,000 words. That’s 50k.
I’m at a little over 10k right now.
If you divide it up, it’s writing approximately 2000 words a day. That’s easy to do if you can get in your zone.

Lets go over some ways I’ve made money online. All of these I have used, and they have generated income. Making money online started to explode during the onset, and following the covid pandemic. People realized that they could make a living from home, or anywhere there’s an internet connection. Employees were forced out of their offices and into their homes, and it’s turned out to be a good thing.
You can gain more freedom, work from a van down by the river, or from a beach by the ocean. As long as you can get internet, you’re good to go. Gone are the days where a person has to punch a time clock and work a 9-5.
I understand some people enjoy their work, and prefer it that way. That’s cool too. When I was able to work, and working in the nursing industry, I loved my job. But times have changed, and being unable to work as an employee, and being on disability has forced me to learn to do new things.
Fiverr
The first online platform I’m going to talk about is Fiverr. It was created as a platform in the beginning for people to do projects for others for 5 bucks. It’s since then evolved and you can create what they call a ”gig”, to do anything. Website design, Amazon listings, app development. I did a quick search for “how to build a website”, and there were over 25K gigs ranging in price from $650 to $5.
It’s easy to set up, and takes about an hour or a little more if you are a newbie, to set up your first gig. I have made money on this platform. If you would like to check it out, you can click any of the underlined words.
Legiit
The next platform that is similar to Fiverr is Legiit. Legitt works about the same way as Fiverr, is a bit newer to the online freelance platform world. But it is getting great reviews. It has awesome security with 2FA and great payout programs.
Etsy and ShineOn
Ok, this is a seriously cool trick. You can start an Etsy store, create jewelry via ShineOn, and upload your jewelry to your Etsy store. You don’t have to have any inventory, you don’t have to do any shipping, or any of that. You simply find a piece of jewelry, or a product that ShineOn has, do the setup, and then sync it to your Etsy store. I’ve made money this way as well.
My store is kind of on the back burner right now, so I’m working on that, but it is a great way to make and sell products, without having to actually fabricate the product yourself. If you do make products, then that’s awesome, Etsy is a great place to showcase them. You can click any of the underlined words to try it out and see my store.
Print on Demand
This is similar to Etsy and Shineon. Except you can take one of your pictures, and upload it to Redbubble, and then you can choose what kind of products that picture will be on. Cups, mugs, aprons, mini skirts, dog items, shower curtains, tank tops, t-shirts, water bottles… that’s just a few items. There are A LOT. You can click HERE to see what I’m talking about. Currently I’m adding anther print on demand shop.
I’ll update this post when it goes live. All you have to do is go to the website, create an account, and then start making items. It will take some time to get everything set up for payment, and whatever kind of designs you want to create. I use Canva, click here to create your account. Canva’s images are not copyrighted, so you can find whatever you want to create and then use it. It’s really cool.
Most of these platforms are geared towards the freelancer. Someone who wants to be able to work from anywhere, and create their own type of atmosphere. Especially if you like to write, are good at creating content, understand seo, or just like to work in your pjs from your couch.
There will always be blogging. Blogs will never go away, and are another great way to generate income. I started this blog fore FREE nine years ago…it’s my go-to to publish whatever I want to write about. It’s a little slower, but if you can be consistent, then it’s a sure fire winner.

Depression and anxiety sucks, and I have been dealing with it since I was 9 years old.
I have many hours in with my therapist, and many coping skills in my tool box. But there are some days that even that doesn’t work very well. In those cases I need to step away from all social media, my business, and go out and be in nature, and just sit. That may sound crazy, but it works for me.
There are also ways you can have tools readily available from you phone, or computer.
I have been researching mental health options and want to share them here. I will ad more to this post as I find programs, because everyone is different, and so are some of the mental health programs that are available to us.
The most important thing to remember is to REACH out for help when you need it. Doesn’t matter how, or who, just ask for help. Don’t struggle alone. There is always someone out there that can relate and that you can talk to.
Panic Away is an option for you that I’m sharing now. Try it out.
Don’t give up, you are on this planet for a reason. Find your reason.
There are treatments for depression and anxiety, and learning how to treat your symptoms of anxiety and depression is key to being able to find some sort of ”normalcy” in your life. Whatever normal is.

Fiverr is just one of the platforms that you can earn money, without spending it. The only thing you’ll need is time, and a passion for making money online.
Passionate about writing? You should really check out Fiverr and the following platforms.
Upwork, Legiit, Contra and Fiverr are four ways you can sell your talents.
What are you good at? Think about that for a minute. Because I bet you could get others to pay you for what you’re already doing. Do you like to crochet? Create a short tutorial on crocheting and post it on YouTube. How about coloring? Create a coloring book and sell it online across your platforms.
Are you interested in being a ghost writer? Yep, you can do that on Fiverr.
Are you good and building websites? Yep, you guessed it, someone witll pay you to build their websites. What about writing Amazon listings? I have a friend that has made thousands of dollars writing Amazon listings. You can design other peoples business cards, find products for them to sell, and then sell them the list of high converting items.
Really, CHECK IT OUT.
The sky is the limit. There’s are thousands of people that would rather pay someone to do something for them, and if you have what they need, you can market that. Your skills are your niche.
