This is basically a mini waffle maker. You can get them for around 9- ish bucks. I’ve had this for quite a while now and I love it.
Just wanted to share. You can get your own if you want to, or don’t.. I’m not the boss of you… 🤣🤣🤣. You can use my Amazon link, via my linktree button below. ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️
I’ve added a short video of me making an egg Chaffle, with jalapeño, onions, cheese, fresh oregano, and rosemary and a few other things. There’s no rules on what you can do, or the ingredients… do whatever you want.
Let’s go over some way’s I’ve made money online. Hooray! My 1st favorite is blogging.
Lets go over some ways I’ve made money online. All of these I have used, and they have generated income. Making money online started to explode during the onset, and following the covid pandemic. People realized that they could make a living from home, or anywhere there’s an internet connection. Employees were forced out of their offices and into their homes, and it’s turned out to be a good thing.
You can gain more freedom, work from a van down by the river, or from a beach by the ocean. As long as you can get internet, you’re good to go. Gone are the days where a person has to punch a time clock and work a 9-5.
I understand some people enjoy their work, and prefer it that way. That’s cool too. When I was able to work, and working in the nursing industry, I loved my job. But times have changed, and being unable to work as an employee, and being on disability has forced me to learn to do new things.
The first online platform I’m going to talk about is Fiverr. It was created as a platform in the beginning for people to do projects for others for 5 bucks. It’s since then evolved and you can create what they call a ”gig”, to do anything. Website design, Amazon listings, app development. I did a quick search for “how to build a website”, and there were over 25K gigs ranging in price from $650 to $5.
The next platform that is similar to Fiverr is Legiit. Legitt works about the same way as Fiverr, is a bit newer to the online freelance platform world. But it is getting great reviews. It has awesome security with 2FA and great payout programs.
Etsy and ShineOn
Ok, this is a seriously cool trick. You can start an Etsy store, create jewelry via ShineOn, and upload your jewelry to your Etsy store. You don’t have to have any inventory, you don’t have to do any shipping, or any of that. You simply find a piece of jewelry, or a product that ShineOn has, do the setup, and then sync it to your Etsy store. I’ve made money this way as well.
My store is kind of on the back burner right now, so I’m working on that, but it is a great way to make and sell products, without having to actually fabricate the product yourself. If you do make products, then that’s awesome, Etsy is a great place to showcase them. You can click any of the underlined words to try it out and see my store.
This is similar to Etsy and Shineon. Except you can take one of your pictures, and upload it to Redbubble, and then you can choose what kind of products that picture will be on. Cups, mugs, aprons, mini skirts, dog items, shower curtains, tank tops, t-shirts, water bottles… that’s just a few items. There are A LOT. You can click HERE to see what I’m talking about. Currently I’m adding anther print on demand shop.
I’ll update this post when it goes live. All you have to do is go to the website, create an account, and then start making items. It will take some time to get everything set up for payment, and whatever kind of designs you want to create. I use Canva, click here to create your account. Canva’s images are not copyrighted, so you can find whatever you want to create and then use it. It’s really cool.
Most of these platforms are geared towards the freelancer. Someone who wants to be able to work from anywhere, and create their own type of atmosphere. Especially if you like to write, are good at creating content, understand seo, or just like to work in your pjs from your couch.
There will always be blogging. Blogs will never go away, and are another great way to generate income. I started this blog fore FREE nine years ago…it’s my go-to to publish whatever I want to write about. It’s a little slower, but if you can be consistent, then it’s a sure fire winner.
Always remember that you only fail if you don’t try. Just try…all of these platforms are FREE to use. FREE FREE FREE FREE.
If you would like an EXTREMELY detailed guide to these and other services to start your own online business, I’ve partnered with Adrian Brambila to share the Brambila Method. This is how he’s made his money, and is financially retired at the age of 32. Yes it costs money, but if you aren’t 100% satisfied, he offers a money back guarantee.
Depression and anxiety sucks, and I have been dealing with it since I was 9 years old.
I have many hours in with my therapist, and many coping skills in my tool box. But there are some days that even that doesn’t work very well. In those cases I need to step away from all social media, my business, and go out and be in nature, and just sit. That may sound crazy, but it works for me.
There are also ways you can have tools readily available from you phone, or computer.
I have been researching mental health options and want to share them here. I will ad more to this post as I find programs, because everyone is different, and so are some of the mental health programs that are available to us.
The most important thing to remember is to REACH out for help when you need it. Doesn’t matter how, or who, just ask for help. Don’t struggle alone. There is always someone out there that can relate and that you can talk to.
Don’t give up, you are on this planet for a reason. Find your reason.
There are treatments for depression and anxiety, and learning how to treat your symptoms of anxiety and depression is key to being able to find some sort of ”normalcy” in your life. Whatever normal is.
Wowee, I am learning A LOT about building an online business.
I started by converting my blog to a business site at the beginning of the year, so I could have all of the tools I need to manage what I am building.
I took a $7 dollar course, which gave me the initial understanding of how the business model worked. Though it left me with a lot of questions. So I headed over to youtube to do some more research.
This led me to getting a mentor, and she has helped me a lot to understand that part of the business.
But… yes there’s a but… as I’m going through the mentoring process, I’m finding out that I don’t want to do my business that way. I don’t want to be a coach to a bunch of people, not right now at least. I WANT to help others, and intend on doing that, but coaching/mentoring isn’t at the top of my list right now. Maybe later…but right now I’m just going to share the tools that have WORKED for me, and generated income.
The reason for this, is I want the majority of my income to continue to come in passively. This means doing the back end work, continuing to blog and share what I’m learning, and creating projects that literally make money in my sleep. Which has happened to date.
I took one more training, as I have mentioned before, and it has really helped me nail down the little things that I was missing, in creating passive income. It gave me awesome ideas, and I feel like I’m moving in the right direction to scale and grow my business.
That being said, here’s the training I took. Yes it will cost you some money, but if you need some PROVEN methods to expand your online business, this is the training for you. I’ve also linked it in one of my pages.
I want to remind you that starting a business, whether it’s a brick and mortor business, or a passive online business, takes work. The term ”passive” can be misleading, as you HAVE to do the initial work, to make it passive. You have to learn how to do it, and learn how to make it successful.
Soooo…as a part of my transparency on building a business online, I have started a project that will teach newbies how to build a website from scratch.
I’m pretty familiar with WordPress, and I wanted to use another platform to build out a brand new site. So I chose Wix. (Sorry WordPress… but you will be the next course creation. 😊)
There is a great platform called Udemy, where you can create a course, upload it, and then sell it. Once you create the course, that’s it… it becomes completely passive income after that.
I’m really wanting to create as much passive income as I can. I will take on a SMALL number of clients for mentoring/coaching, but I want the bulk of my income to come from me sleeping. lol….
This works people, I’m making money.
I really like to write, which is why I have this blog. (Since 2013). I want to share with other people how the process works, and I’m learning as I go.
I will admit, it’s been a bit more time consuming than I first thought, but that’s totally ok! I learn best by doing.
I’ve also shared that I struggled with mental health diagnosis, and I’ll just say that some days I have a hard time functioning. I go through major depressive episodes, I have PTSD and struggle with the symptoms of that. I have body image issues that I struggle with, and it’s just hard some days.
I also am one of those people who get into the ”flow”, and then I’ll work on my business for hours and hours.. this is NOT A GOOD THING for me. I have to learn to manage my time better.
I’m going to share a couple of personal videos of me, and the things that I enjoy, and that bring me happiness. These are my reasons ”why” I started my online business journey. They will be the next posts.
I’m not feeling all the unicorns and rainbows today, but I wanted to get on here and share, because, well, that’s what I want to do.
Starting this business gets mind numbing sometimes…but that’s the beauty of me starting it… I can take a day, or two off, and still run my business.
In the beginning I said I was going to share all of the details.. so I am.
Today is a blah day, but I can still update my socials, and reach out to all of you.
What do you need for your startup online business? I know a college degree isn’t needed, because I’ve used a big fat zero of ANY of the classes that I took.
(I’m not promoting to stop going to college, so don’t get your panties in a bunch.)
Nothing that I did in college has transferred to what I’m doing now. Crazy, right?
I love my pets, usually more than people. They give you unconditional love and loyalty, and forgive our mistakes and arrogance. How do you show your love to your pet?
I’m always looking for new gadgets, and cool things to enhance Zoey, Simba and Sadie’s life. This site, has some really cool, top of the line… like a wifi compatible fountain waterer and feeders, sturdy cleanable cat trees, cloud waterers… totally cool stuff guys! I’m ordering a fountain, pronto!
So how are you going to get people to want to do business with you? What kind of people do you want to attract?
You want to attract your tribe, people that you vibe with. In my opinion.
I mean, if you just want to sell stuff through affiliate links, that’s totally possible as well…I know a lot of people that do that. Sell products. I have a couple of links here on my site, for products that I personally use. Here they are, if you are wondering.
Systeme.io—has a free option for building funnels, and auto responders
Aweber—has a free option for a landing page and auto responder
WordPress—best place ever, in my opintion, to get your domain, host, eCommerce, blog..basically your everything place for it all. It has seo built in..the whole nine yards.
Elementor—this is an amazing editing program to build out your site.
Anyway… as I was saying… you want to build your business with integrity and honesty. At least that’s the way I want to do it. I don’t want some kind of cheese balls, and scammy stuff. I want to show you what works.
So…..I am creating a course. Yes, you will have to pay for it, and there will be an upsell.. but I can guarantee you in the beginning it’s not going to cost you a kidney to start. I will offer one on one coaching, with a GUARANTEE that if you are teachable, and willing to learn, you will be making money.
This process is a proven business model, and it works.
It’s got a money back guarantee, so what’s not to love about that?
I’ve shared that I started a business at the beginning of the year.
At first I thought I was just going to do affiliated marketing, I took the “$7 course”, and got an insight as to how the process works. I did get very frustrated because 4 or 5 days in, I quickly realized that to get “more training”, I would have to buy a $2500 upsell.
Well, that wasn’t going to work. I started this business because I had no extra money, and was going to get myself out from under the thumb of the government. (I am allotted $976 to live off of from SSDI). I didn’t have an extra twenty five hundred laying around.
I finished the course, and then started doing some research. Found a couple of legit people on YT and learned how to build a funnel. Yes, there were affiliate links within the tutorial, but I didn’t feel like I was being scammed or had some sales-y crap being pushed on me.
Did a bunch more research on what kind of tone I wanted with my business, and how it was going to work. I realized again, that I saw a lot of how I DIDN’T want to run my business.
Got in touch with a great guy who gave me a lot of insight, and whenever I have more technical quesitons, I can ask him and he’s always helpful. Kept posting content, but things seemed to be pivoting. I was getting a lot of questions as to the hows and whys and small details about more of the backend issues.
I tried and failed, then tried again over and over until I figured out the hickups that I was experiencing on my own site… techy things like code and head and footer, and where to put it. That was a pain in my butt, BUT, I learned a lot.
Then again, I pivoted…got in touch with an awesome mentor who offered me her knowledge. I instantly got more insight on how I want my business to be.
I want to always share authentic things, that mean something to me, I want to give no BS information about the ins and outs of affiliate marketing. Because from what I’ve seen, there’s a lot of misinformation out there. I’ll get into that in a later post, it’s long and detailed.
So, I’m now transitioning into how I can teach people what I’ve learned. The hustles that work, and what I have actually done. I’m now in the beginning stages of creating my own course. Still have no idea how that works 😂 but that’s part of the journey.
I do a lot, and found out that there’s more than one way to make money online… and if a person can show/teach more than a single option, then that’s better, in my opinion.
