Most of the time during a crisis, I absolutely can’t think straight, and I make decisions when I shouldn’t, when I’m “intoxicated” with a certain emotion. At the time of beginning this post, I was REALLY sad, right now, I’m just tired, and sort of numb. The sadness isn’t as overwhelming, and I was able to see through the fog, and realize for a split second that “this too shall pass”.

It’s not a secret, if you know me, that I am all about everything cannabis, hemp, weed. I am a firm believer in plant medicine, and if you do your research, all medicine originally came from PLANTS. Get CBD here.
I personally take CBD, CBG, CB-everything, and it is helping me wean off of pharma. I also am going to give a huge shout out to my people, who make the products I take. Here is a link to get your own.
But lets talk about the benefits of CBD for pain.. Just for ONE instant, open your mind and consider plant medicine.
“Cannabis has been used for millennia to reduce pain. Herbal cannabis is currently strongly promoted by some patients and their advocates to treat any type of chronic pain.” Source PubMed.
It personally, helps reduce overall inflammation throughout my entire body. With no side affects.
Yes, you need to do your research to find what strain and what products work best for you. Don’t take my word for it, let it prove itself for you.
Will it get you high? CBD will not, but if you get anything with a higher amount of THC in it, you could feel some affects of euphoria.
I think I’ve figured out this whole online business thing. It’s been almost a year that I’ve been learning, creating, and figuring it out.
Here’s some things I’ve found out about the online space, and making money.
Money doesn’t buy you happiness. I’ve had it, made it, lost it, and honestly, it hasn’t brought me any kind of peace at all.
If you think that you are going to start a business without investing money, you’re being mislead.
If you think that you are going to make fast money, again, you’re being mislead.
I’ve found out that, for me, if it doesn’t bring me peace, a sense of completeness, and the ability to maybe help others, THEN IT’S NOT WORTH IT, and I’m not going to do it.
I have found what makes me feel good, what brings me peace, and what ignites a fire under my ass. It’s not building funnels, or landing pages, it’s not getting a new affiliate partnership with another company, it’s not sitting in zoom calls listening to rah rah speeches, and being told that I need to do this or that to make money.
MONEY MONEY MONEY. I’m so sick of hearing about money. Because honestly if I die tomorrow, I can’t take it with me. Money is REQUIRED to live in most places in a populated society. But everyone is different, and their goals are different. That’s ok.
I am a lifelong trauma survivor. I’ve struggled MY ENTIRE LIFE. I struggle to this day.
What I have realized is that writing helps me process that trauma, and makes me not want to kill myself. Yea, that’s heavy, but it’s the truth. Building a huge affiliate program isn’t what I want to do. I want to pour my heart and soul into what I write because it feels RIGHT. It’s right for me. So that’s what I’m going to do.
I will probably keep the few affiliate partnerships that I have, my amazon store, maybe my Etsy store, I don’t know yet. But I’ll be getting rid of all of the others, because it’s just not right for me.
So for my followers, thank you for hanging in there with me. Thank you for seeing me and allowing me to find my passion. It’s been a year, for sure.
Follow me on Twitter @hrsygurl. On Medium @hrysgurl. On Facebook. (You can click the underlined words). And of course here.
Thank you. Really, I mean it, from the bottom of my heart.
If you would like to join the writing challenge for November, go to this link NaNoWriMo.org. It’s not too late!
Key words: what is my passion, struggling to find my passion, how to find your passion when you are depressed, find your passion meaning, how to find your passion and purpose, finding and fulfilling pursuit, discover your passion.
This is a challenge where you can network with other writers, the general public, or completely keep your writing private. It runs until the end of November, and the challenge is to write at least 50,000 words. That’s 50k.
I’m at a little over 10k right now.
If you divide it up, it’s writing approximately 2000 words a day. That’s easy to do if you can get in your zone.
Let me know what you think. 😊
If you don’t see much of me on here, that’s why. I’m in my mojo and writing, though I will try to check in and share my progress.
Let’s go over some way’s I’ve made money online. Hooray! My 1st favorite is blogging.
Lets go over some ways I’ve made money online. All of these I have used, and they have generated income. Making money online started to explode during the onset, and following the covid pandemic. People realized that they could make a living from home, or anywhere there’s an internet connection. Employees were forced out of their offices and into their homes, and it’s turned out to be a good thing.
You can gain more freedom, work from a van down by the river, or from a beach by the ocean. As long as you can get internet, you’re good to go. Gone are the days where a person has to punch a time clock and work a 9-5.
I understand some people enjoy their work, and prefer it that way. That’s cool too. When I was able to work, and working in the nursing industry, I loved my job. But times have changed, and being unable to work as an employee, and being on disability has forced me to learn to do new things.
The first online platform I’m going to talk about is Fiverr. It was created as a platform in the beginning for people to do projects for others for 5 bucks. It’s since then evolved and you can create what they call a ”gig”, to do anything. Website design, Amazon listings, app development. I did a quick search for “how to build a website”, and there were over 25K gigs ranging in price from $650 to $5.
The next platform that is similar to Fiverr is Legiit. Legitt works about the same way as Fiverr, is a bit newer to the online freelance platform world. But it is getting great reviews. It has awesome security with 2FA and great payout programs.
Etsy and ShineOn
Ok, this is a seriously cool trick. You can start an Etsy store, create jewelry via ShineOn, and upload your jewelry to your Etsy store. You don’t have to have any inventory, you don’t have to do any shipping, or any of that. You simply find a piece of jewelry, or a product that ShineOn has, do the setup, and then sync it to your Etsy store. I’ve made money this way as well.
This is similar to Etsy and Shineon. Except you can take one of your pictures, and upload it to Redbubble, and then you can choose what kind of products that picture will be on. Cups, mugs, aprons, mini skirts, dog items, shower curtains, tank tops, t-shirts, water bottles… that’s just a few items. There are A LOT. You can click HERE to see what I’m talking about. Currently I’m adding anther print on demand shop.
I’ll update this post when it goes live. All you have to do is go to the website, create an account, and then start making items. It will take some time to get everything set up for payment, and whatever kind of designs you want to create. I use Canva, click here to create your account. Canva’s images are not copyrighted, so you can find whatever you want to create and then use it. It’s really cool.
Most of these platforms are geared towards the freelancer. Someone who wants to be able to work from anywhere, and create their own type of atmosphere. Especially if you like to write, are good at creating content, understand seo, or just like to work in your pjs from your couch.
There will always be blogging. Blogs will never go away, and are another great way to generate income. I started this blog fore FREE nine years ago…it’s my go-to to publish whatever I want to write about. It’s a little slower, but if you can be consistent, then it’s a sure fire winner.
Always remember that you only fail if you don’t try. Just try…all of these platforms are FREE to use. FREE FREE FREE FREE.
If you would like an EXTREMELY detailed guide to these and other services to start your own online business, I’ve partnered with Adrian Brambila to share the Brambila Method. This is how he’s made his money, and is financially retired at the age of 32. Yes it costs money, but if you aren’t 100% satisfied, he offers a money back guarantee.
It’s time to shop. It’s 74 days until Christmas-here are some ideas.
Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas are just around the corner. I’m going to go over some of my favorite things in this post. Maybe you’ll get some ideas for gifts for others.
My number 1 favorite gadget is this SOLAR POWERED FLASHLIGHT. You can charge your electronics with it, it has 6 different light settings, a seatbelt ”cutter”, glass breaker, and a powerful magnet to stick to anything. I’ve also included two of my videos about this flashlight.
Another favorite of mine is this portable water filter. Are you prepared? Do you live a nomad lifestyle? These are things that you need to have if that’s the case. (That link will give you a few different options for water filters, water filtration systems, and replacement filters. )
Another favorite product is THIS WEIGHTED BLANKET. Studies have shown that weighted blankets help with anxiety, stress, sleep and other health challenges. This link will take you to my original post about Thera Blankets.) You can read more about weighted blankets through this trusted source.
Kitchen, bathrooms, living rooms, decor…you can’t beat stuff like that for gifts. Don’t know what they want? Get them a gift card. Or, you know, just ask… people will always give you answers when you ask the right questions. OVERSTOCK is a great place to shop. So is AMAZON. I know there are different opinions out there about different places. But I have to run a business, and attempt to have enough money for my funeral, so I’m going with the online choices. 🤷🏻♀️ (Any of the underline words or pictures will take you to where you want to go.)
TikTok has again been in the news about security issues. It’s been called “data harvesting”, and a security risk.
I’m not going to trash talk the app. I’m just going to cite some information I found, with a quick search and you can make up your mind on your own. Keep in mind that apps, platforms etc. all collect data, it’s how they get their algorithm to work, how they place ads, how they decide what you like to see. It’s all there. I get that. So don’t come at me. LOL…
“On Friday, the company responded to a letter signed by nine Republican US senators, including Roy Blunt of Missouri and Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee. The letter expresses concern over a report that the company gives officials in Beijing “backdoor access” to data on its users. In a response to the senators, TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew laid out details about how the company is working with the Biden administration on an agreement that would “fully safeguard user data and US national security interests.” (Cited directly from HERE from CNET)
This is just one article I found when doing a search. You can search and read others yourself.
We all know that apps collect our information. Or we should know. We should read the privacy policies and decide if we are ok with them. In todays society, EVERYTHING is on the internet. You can’t hide unless you know someone. (This is my opinion from my personal experiences.)
I don’t want this post to be political or leaning one way or another, but I wanted to share what is really, old news, as this started back in 2019. You make up your own mind on what you want to do, and what platforms you allow in your life.
What do you think? 🤷🏻♀️ TikTok? Yay, Nay? Is TikTok? too invasive?
Is Facebook, Instagram, and the many many other platforms out there too invasive? Probably. If we compare life now to life 100 years ago. It’s the evolution of society and technology. We either roll with it, and use it to better our lives, or we stay away from it and keep doing the things that we already do to better our lives. No judgement from me either way.
Depression and anxiety sucks, and I have been dealing with it since I was 9 years old.
I have many hours in with my therapist, and many coping skills in my tool box. But there are some days that even that doesn’t work very well. In those cases I need to step away from all social media, my business, and go out and be in nature, and just sit. That may sound crazy, but it works for me.
There are also ways you can have tools readily available from you phone, or computer.
I have been researching mental health options and want to share them here. I will ad more to this post as I find programs, because everyone is different, and so are some of the mental health programs that are available to us.
The most important thing to remember is to REACH out for help when you need it. Doesn’t matter how, or who, just ask for help. Don’t struggle alone. There is always someone out there that can relate and that you can talk to.
Don’t give up, you are on this planet for a reason. Find your reason.
There are treatments for depression and anxiety, and learning how to treat your symptoms of anxiety and depression is key to being able to find some sort of ”normalcy” in your life. Whatever normal is.
Upwork, Legiit, Contra and Fiverr are four ways you can sell your talents.
What are you good at? Think about that for a minute. Because I bet you could get others to pay you for what you’re already doing. Do you like to crochet? Create a short tutorial on crocheting and post it on YouTube. How about coloring? Create a coloring book and sell it online across your platforms.
Are you interested in being a ghost writer? Yep, you can do that on Fiverr.
Are you good and building websites? Yep, you guessed it, someone witll pay you to build their websites. What about writing Amazon listings? I have a friend that has made thousands of dollars writing Amazon listings. You can design other peoples business cards, find products for them to sell, and then sell them the list of high converting items.
Really, CHECK IT OUT.
The sky is the limit. There’s are thousands of people that would rather pay someone to do something for them, and if you have what they need, you can market that. Your skills are your niche.
Interested in Fiverr? You can click this link and create your own account, and start sharing your gigs.
When I say you can literally create and sell your talents, I’m serious. There is a platform for EVERYTHING.
Check out the Brambila Method to learn how to do this. There are tuturials, and testimonies and how and WHY you should use these methods if you are serious about starting an online business. These methods are how Adrian Brambila made over a million dollars living IN HIS VAN last year. I sh*t you not. 😁
I’m telling you that it works. I’m generating income using these methods, and will have freedom from the government. (I am on disability, for those who don’t know, and it limits you on what you can do financially.)
